how'd you like those last couple days? it's been hot out there all across the nation. i've been sweating buckets in this heat, but things are cooling off now. heading out to little egg harbor this weekend with a good group of pals. i'm aiming to catch at least a dozen blue crabs while i'm there. i'm bringing my knife and sleeping on the dock to make sure no thieves come by to steal our catch like they did last year. stinking bandits.
on the music tip, why is it that most cover versions suck but when reggae artists do it they're just as good if not better than the original? case in point above. discussion to follow.

dear san francisco,
i guess we couldn't stay away from you for too long. pj will be coming in about a month or so and i a few months after that, give or take a month or two. sorry for the delay on my part, but new york and i still have a lot we need to share with each other before we say goodbye. in the meantime maybe you could try to clean up a bit for us. a little scrub down wouldn't hurt.
